There was a day, not so long ago, “when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD. And the LORD said unto Satan, From whence comest thou?” And Satan answered, I saw him sin, sin grievously.” Satan spoke of me, and every word he said was true. I had sinned. God’s Spirit had chastened me and I had repented, but, oh, the guilt and shame I still felt! Then I heard the words of my Father. “Thou hast wearied me with thine iniquities.” However, “I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. (Isaiah 43:25) I could not believe my ears. I had failed so miserably. I was so ashamed, yet the Father forgave me. I deserved His wrath but He understood my weakness. He did not condone my sin and expected me to forsake that rebellion. Then, when I was so defeated by my failure He spoke again. “Fear not, my servant. ‘For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground.’” I was astonished at His mercy. My heart cried out, “Why, Lord? I deserved to die. Why do you have such love and mercy for one such as I am? He answered simply, “I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.” (vs.6b)
Even today Satan accuses me before the Throne of God. My Father takes note of my situation and answers the old Accuser, “He is my servant, my child, ‘Him whom I have chosen.” I will chasten and I will love Him.’ Therefore, with all my heart I will love the Lord, walk close to Him and keep short accounts with Him. He tells me, “Fear not, my servant, whom I have chosen. I will pour my Spirit upon thy seed and my blessing upon thine offspring.” He is God. He is my Father and He forgives me. Therefore;
I will not fear, for I am forgiven!

Romans 8:31-32
“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be
against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up
for us all, how shall he not with him also
freely give us all things?”
